Registration process
Everyone can access ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk and see all news, leagues and statistics. One needs neither to be registered nor logged on.

One has to register to be part of the action and play with a team of one's own.

Registration and playing are free of charge.

During the registration process one specifies the team name, team colours, crest and more.

A very important piece of information is where one's team should be based. By entering a zip code or a city name, one can determine where one wants to play. Of course, it's best to use one's home town but that's optional.

Keep in mind that one not only plays for one's own team but also for one's city and country.

At the end of the registration process, the new team will be assigned to a league.

All teams start in the 6th ONLINELEAGUE. This also applies to the very first season.

The program will now search for approximately 10 seconds to find the appropriate league for the new team. If there is a league in the team's community where a spot is vacant, the team will immediately be assigned to that league. The league name will be displayed in the registration window and the process is complete.

If there is no available league spot or no league yet in the community, the team will now enter a waiting loop for a maximum of 48 hours. During this time, the program constantly rechecks, if the following is possible:
Are there other teams in the same community to found a new league there?
Can the team play in a league together with other teams from neighbouring communities?
If there is no other way, more distant communities will be examined to find options.
If all this does not work, other counties within the country will be examined for potential.

The team manager will be directly informed of this via email.

After no more than a day, the team manager will be informed of the current status via email

As soon as the team has been assigned to a league, the team manager will instantaneously be informed of this via email.

If, after 48 hours, still no league has been found for the team, the tam manager can choose between the following options:
Join one of 3 suggested leagues from further away.
Keep waiting for more teams to sign up in the area. The team manager will receive a daily status email. He will be informed as soon as the team has been assigned to a league.

Of course, during this waiting period, the team manager can and should try to recruit other teams from his area. This has not only the advantage of playing in a regional league in his community, but it also strengthens the own region in the city ranking and of course also in the country ranking.
