This area is only accessible for registered team managers who have logged in with their access data. In the office the team manager does everything that belongs to the area of „Management“. So finances, contracts, investments and administrative tasks.

Finances
All of your team's income and expenses flow together here
(1) In the dropdown, the current season is selected by default. However, you can always jump back to one of the previous seasons. The financial overview of all seasons played so far can be viewed.
(2) The current account balance
(3) The amount of funds available to the team manager. In this amount the account can be debited additionally. The amount of the overdraft limit is determined by the bank and depends on the previous balances of the team.
(4) The availability limit indicates how much money is currently available to the team manager in total. For example, if there are 100,000 pounds in the account and the overdraft limit is 20,000 pounds, the available limit is 120,000 pounds.
The overview shows the team's grouped income (5), expenditure (6), open transfer expenditure (7) and interest costs (8). For the current season these are shown for the current week as well as for the whole season. For past seasons only the values for the whole season are shown.
The various income and expenses are listed and totaled grouped by subject. Blocked money for transfers are transfer fees for transfers that have not yet been made but a bid has been placed. The offered transfer fee for the player is blocked until a transfer decision has been made. Then the money is either released again (if the player does not move to the own team), or, in case of success, the money is debited. In both cases, the blocked amount disappears from this area.
Each credit and debit is listed here. The entire account statement of the selected season is displayed.
(1) At the top, the currently blocked transfer funds are displayed.
(2) All bookings are grouped by ONLINELEAGUE weeks. Each amount is shown individually along with the reason for the transfer.
(3) Player salaries are shown grouped as a total. With a click, these can be expanded and displayed in detail per player.
All open transfer bids with the corresponding blocked fees.
In the event of inability to pay, the existing stadium is mortgaged. The loan-to-value and the repayment made so far are displayed.
The bank receives the part of the stadium income that corresponds to the percentage of the current loan value. For example, if the mortgage lending value is 1 million euros and the stadium has a total value of 20 million pounds, then this corresponds to a share of 5%. The bank thus receives 5% of all stadium revenues.
From the income the loan is automatically paid back to the bank, in order to deduct it completely.
-
Important messages from the bank. FOR EXAMPLE: Change of overdraft limit
-
The number of new bank messages are highlighted in red
As soon as there are new bank messages, these will also be communicated via Messenger
The amount of the overdraft facility depends on the current economic circumstances of the club. In order to determine the overdraft facility, the bank looks at the following parameters:
The rating based on this key data is used to determine the discount framework.
A debit interest rate of 10% (p.a.) is charged for the use of the overdraft facility. The debit interest is deducted from the account on a weekly basis (ONLINELEAGUE week).
If the overdraft facility is overdrawn, 15% special interest will be charged. However, this 15% will only be charged for the amount that exceeds the normal overdraft facility. For the amount that is within the overdraft facility, 10% interest will continue to be charged.
If the overdraft facility is already exhausted and the payments due exceed the income, the following rules apply:
Player age
These will always be paid. If necessary, the overdraft facility will be overdrawn and special overdraft interest will be charged
Operating costs stadium
Will be paid first. If necessary, the overdraft facility will be overdrawn and special overdraft interest will be charged.
However, the bank expects the club to be solvent again for the next transfer period. Otherwise, the stadium will remain closed.
The club will then be under special observation by the bank and stricter conditions will apply.
Training
Costs are always paid. If necessary, the Dispo is overdrawn and there are Dispo special interest incurred.
Will not be paid. There is an automatic dismantling, or a disposal first from a place. If the resulting income is sufficient to pay for the other spaces, no more spaces are built back. Otherwise the same happens with the other squares.
These are each paid up to 3 times per season. After that, the bank no longer jumps in and he leaves the club.
Youth academy
Will not be paid. The scouting section will be down by the corresponding amount not paid.
Will not be paid. The personnel section will be brought down by the corresponding unpaid amount.
Will be paid initially. However, only until the next transfer period, then a compensation must be made to assume the cost again. Otherwise threatens the forced sale of so many shares until the account is again within the overdraft.
Forced sales of players
If the account is still not within the dispo at the summer break, the following happens:
-
The ongoing operating costs for the stadium could not be paid.
-
Players' salaries could not be paid
-
Running costs for the performance centre could not be paid
-
Ongoing costs for training ground 1 could not be paid.
Some of the costs are temporarily taken over by the bank, but after the expiry of the respective deadlines the status of „special observation by the bank“ occurs.
The team manager will be informed about it via Messenger.
What does it mean when a club is under special surveillance?
-
While the current half-series is underway, the bank is initially paying all expenses and the account is overdrawn.
-
If the team manager has not ensured appropriate liquidity during the transfer phase and continues to be unable to pay, the stadium will be closed for the time that the operating costs cannot be paid. The performance center will continue to be paid for but will be forcibly closed during the next break.
How can a team manager end the status „under special observation“?
-
The club must be consistently solvent for a full half-season. This can be at the earliest the half-series after the status of observation. Ex: A club comes in season 10, matchday 28 under observation, then he can end this at the earliest after the end of the first half series in season 11.
For any expenditure that a team manager needs to make, a finance check is first carried out. This means that the bank calculates on the basis of the following factors whether the follow-up costs of the investment will be covered in the future with a relatively high probability:
-
Current account balance
-
Dispo frame
-
Win in the last ONLINELEAGUE year (last 44 weeks)
-
Fixed promotion or relegation
-
Fixed transfer income and expenses
-
Expected profit within the next 44 weeks, taking into account current income and expenses
From these factors, the bank calculates the possible weekly charges and compares them with the charges expected as a result of the investment. If there is a discrepancy, the investment will not be approved and the team manager will be informed of the maximum monthly burden.
>
Important: If there is also a one-time fixed amount to be paid for the investment, this will be deducted from the current account balance and not taken into account in the calculation. Example: stadium expansion for 10 million Euros, accruing operating costs of 8,000 pounds per week. Then, before the financial check, the 10 million pounds are deducted from the available money in the account before the calculation begins.
A player is only on a team as long as he has a valid contract. This is the area where contracts are extended or terminated.
(1) Show only players for the chosen position.
(2) Show only players with contract remaining time set.
(3) The player ends his career at the end of the current season.
(4) Contract: Shows for how many years the current contract was signed.
(5) Remaining term: indicates how long the current contract will run (1S., 30 W. means, for example: The contract runs for 1 season and 30 weeks).
(6) Contract until: Indicates until the end of which season the current contract is still running. (FOR EXAMPLE: Season 4, means: the player's current contract is still valid until the end of the 4th season).
Click this button to extend a player's current contract. The negotiation process will be started.

All the framework data of the previous contract is displayed in the upper area (1).
The player is now presented with an offer from the combination of (2) „annual salary“ and (3) „term“. An offer to a player should always be well considered. Each player decides quite individually based on his various attributes. His age, market value, loyalty and past performance, among other things, influence what salary and what term the player accepts or proposes. Even the first proposal has a psychological effect on the player and the esteem in which he is held.
The player accepts the offer or not. If he does not accept, he immediately makes a counteroffer.

If the player's salary expectations are significantly higher than in the current contract, this is usually because the player's market value has risen since the conclusion of his last contract and he is demanding a correspondingly higher salary (1).
Via the mutual offers can now be negotiated until both agree. The player's counteroffer can be accepted directly at any time (2). Depending on the type of player, it may be that the player raises his salary expectations again. This depends on the course of events and happens, for example, if he is a bit upset because the team manager's offers are too brazen from his point of view.
Caution: at a certain point, the player may no longer be willing to negotiate. In this case, either his last offer can be accepted or waited. In the latter case, it is possible to make a later attempt.
Click this button to immediately terminate a player's current contract The negotiation process will be started.

All the framework data of the current contract is displayed in the upper area (1).
The player makes an offer for the severance pay he would like to have in order to terminate the contract (2). This is based on his salary and the remaining term of his contract. The negotiations are the same as for the extension of the contract. Both parties alternately submit proposals and can accept them at any time to terminate the contract.
If the player is no longer willing to negotiate, the team manager may accept the player's final offer.
After the contract is terminated, the club-less player appears as a buy-it-now offer on the transfer market.
In this section, co-coaches, assistants and goalkeeper coaches can be hired and managed. Furthermore, additional training grounds can be purchased. At the beginning every team manager is on his own. There is one training ground and no other persons in the coaching staff. This means there can only be one type of training at a time. In order to run multiple training sessions in parallel, additional staff must be hired to run the training.
In the upper area, you can see the maximum possible number of training groups training at the same time.
Below are the three areas training plans, co-trainer / assistant and goalkeeper coach. For each area, the current status and the fixed costs incurred are displayed. To customize one of the areas, click on the respective button „Customize“.
Two parallel training sessions can be held on each training pitch.
The slider (1) can be used to set how many training places should be available in total.
The construction time (2) and the annual operating costs (fixed costs) for the new pitches (3) can be seen below. In addition, the total annual fixed costs (4) and the construction costs for the new sites (5).
To remove one or more training sites, simply move the slider to the desired number.
Under the slider, the refund cost and the new total cost are displayed.

On the right side you can see the current status. (6)
Up to 4 training grounds can be established.
-
One training pitch will be built in 12 weeks.
-
The more training pitches are built at once, the faster they are finished and the cheaper they become. If 2 courts are built at the same time, only 80.000 pounds instead of 100.000 pounds will be charged for each court. If 3 places are built at the same time, the sum per place is reduced to 75,000 pounds.
-
For each square, the completion status is shown. A space cannot be used until it is 100% complete.
In the lower right corner, the annual fixed costs for all training places are displayed (7).
These are based on the league level. The higher the team plays, the higher the entitlements and maintenance costs. You can get an overview of the costs by clicking the info button.
To conduct more than one training session at a time, you need staff to lead the training. For this purpose, co-coach and assistants can be hired.

-
Co-Coach
Can lead any type of training except goalkeeper training. For the following types of training, the training effect is lower compared to the coach:
• Training game (medium)
• Tactics (medium)
• Standard Situations (low)
-
Assistant
Can lead any type of training except goalkeeper training. The following types of training have a lower training effect compared to the coach:
• Training game (strong)
• Tactics (Strong)
• Standard Situations (Medium)
• Technique (Low)
To hire training staff, you first choose whether it should be a co-trainer or an assistant via the "toggle button" (1). The corresponding salary is displayed to match the selection (2). The salary depends on the league level. The higher the team plays, the more expensive the staff. The info button gives you an overview of the costs.

Via button HIRE the desired personell can be hired (3).
An overview of the current staff can be found on the right side (4).
To dismiss personnel, click on the DISMISS button of the corresponding co-coach or assistant (5).
CAUTION: The training group led by this person can then no longer train. The training plan should be adjusted.
In the lower right corner, the annual fixed costs for all co-trainers and assistants are shown (6).
GOALIE COACH
Goalkeeper training can only be done by goalkeeper coaches. Without a goalkeeper coach no goalkeeper training is possible.
A goalkeeper coach can train a maximum of 3 goalkeepers at the same time.

To hire a goalkeeper coach, click on the SET button at the bottom left (1). The corresponding salary will be displayed to match the selection (2). The salary depends on the league level. The higher the team plays, the more expensive the personnel.
Via the info button you get an overview of the costs (3).
An overview of the current goalkeeper coaches can be found on the right side of the page (4).
To dismiss a goalkeeper coach, click on the DISMISS button of the corresponding coach (5).
CAUTION: The training group led by this person can then no longer train. The training plan should be adjusted.
In the bottom right corner, the annual fixed costs for all goalkeeper coaches are displayed (6).
Description text follows.
By building a youth academy center, youth players can be discovered, trained and added to the squad.
The current status of the academy can be seen at the top. The scale goes from 0 to 100%. The higher the value, the greater the chance of getting good and talented academy players.
The following factors are included in the calculation of the status:
Academy building
-
Height of the investment
-
Percentage of completion of construction stages
-
Existing time: the longer the performance center, or the extensions exist, the more effective. After 5 years at the latest, the full effectiveness is reached.
Staff
Scouting
Interaction / dependencies
-
Base is always the power center. Without building, no offspring.
-
High investment in staff is more efficient when there is a proper performance center. Good and numerous personnel can only work successfully in an appropriate environment.
-
Good scouting, i.e. high investments in the scouting department, only pay off if the appropriate environment of a performance center and suitable personnel is available. Top talents value a good environment.
The status box for the youth academy center contains the following information:
Performance level of the building
Total investment
Annual fixed costs
The INVEST button, or ADJUST if already invested, takes you to the detail area.
On the right side you can see the current status. This consists of up to 2 parts: The completed building parts and building parts under construction. Below that the total value (construction costs) and the annual total costs.
On the left side, the investment can be adjusted. For this purpose, max. the amount in the account is available. The amount can be entered, or set by slider. The corresponding fixed costs, construction time, total fixed costs and total value of the performance center, are updated in real time.
To make a dismantling of the youth academy center, a negative amount can be set. The dismantling value is displayed below it. The dismantling can always refer only to a completed part of the building. Buildings under construction cannot be reduced.
Restrictions and Notes:
Adjustments to the youth academy center are only possible once per half of the season.
During a construction phase, no adjustments can be made to the youth academy center.
Investment in construction costs: min. 10,000 – max. 100,000,000 GBP.

The status box for staff contains the following information:
Grade of familiarization / efficiency
Annual fixed costs (salaries)
Clicking the INVEST button, or ADJUST if already invested, will take you to the detail area.

On the right side you can see the current status. This consists of up to two parts: The percentage of personnel who have been trained (1) and the percentage of personnel who are still being trained (2). In addition, the degree of familiarization (in percent). If there are several personnel groups that have a different status of familiarization (percent), these are combined proportionally and displayed with the calculated, percentage familiarization value.
Below this are the annual total costs.
On the left side, the investment can be adjusted (3). For this purpose, max. the amount in the account is available. The amount can be entered or adjusted by slider. The corresponding fixed costs and the total fixed costs for personnel are updated in real time.
To reduce staff, a negative amount can be set. The staff that is not yet 100% trained is always reduced first. Only after that, also fully trained personnel.
Restrictions and notes:
Adjustments to the staff are only possible once per half of the season.
The possible investment amount is 10.000 – 5.000.000 GBP / year.

In the status box to the scouting, the following information can be seen:
Grade of familiarization / efficiency
Annual fixed costs (salaries)
Via the button INVEST, or ADJUST if already invested, you get to the detail area.
On the right side you can see the current status. This consists of up to two parts: The percentage of scouting personnel inducted, and the percentage of scouts still in induction. In addition, the degree of induction (in percent). If there are several scouting groups that have a different status of induction (percent), they are combined proportionally and displayed with the calculated percentage induction value.
Below this are the total annual costs.
On the left side, the investment can be adjusted. For this purpose, max. the amount on the account is available. The amount can be entered or adjusted by slider. The corresponding fixed costs and the total fixed costs for scouting are updated in real time.
To reduce staff, a negative amount can be set. It is always the staff that is not yet 100% trained that is reduced first. Only then also fully trained staff.
Restrictions and notes:
Adjustments to scouting are only possible once per half of the season.
The possible investment amount is 1,000 – 2,000,000 GBP / year.

In the Scouting Prioritizations, positions of upcoming youth players can be prioritized. To set the prioritization, go to the Scouting window under Youth and select (1) Prioritization. In the dropdowns you can choose the positions. The position with the highest priority has the highest probability of appearing among the youth players. However, this is not a guarantee!
In the beginning, all positions have the same probability. This then changes over time according to the prioritization. You can see the progress by the progress bar in the dropdown.
If a priority is deleted or moved, this does not mean a reset. The probability of the deleted position will then gradually decrease.
In week 37, you get the youth players. In the same week, the probabilities are reset and recalculated over the next few weeks for the new youth players for the next season. However, the set priorities will remain in place and can be changed at any time.
To save the settings you have to click on the "EXIT"-button.
Note: Prioritization can only be set with a youth academy center and investment in scouting.
At the end of each season, after the 1st day of the summer break, the new academy player(s) will be displayed in the selection list.
The number and quality depends on the status of the young talent. Apart from that, the players are of course subject to a certain fluctuation. Promotion of young players is always a matter of chance and luck.
Via the button „OFFER CONTRACT“ a player can be added to the squad. For this purpose, all player details including market value are shown.
Based on the market value, a usual annual salary is given. However, it is not said that the player will accept this. This depends on the following factors:
Talent
Player's character/orientation
Contract length
Academy players can only ever be signed for 2 years. If the player rejects several offers, it may be that he breaks off the negotiation and is only in the next week again available for new negotiations. This depends on his character. Players who are not signed disappear from the offer list at the end of the next season and enter the transfer market as a buy-it-now offer.
Without the money from sponsorship and league marketing, every football team would lack the basis of its existence. Both are elementary basic elements for a functioning football management.
The main sponsor is an important source of revenue for every team and, depending on the sponsorship agreement, is made up of fixed inaugural premiums, success-dependent matchday premiums and success-dependent premiums at the end of the season.
The following types of prizes exist:
Matchday premiums. These are paid out directly on the matchday.
Matchday bonuses
A mostly small but secure premium paid out immediately after each league game. No matter how the game ends.
Victory bonuses
A higher bonus that the team only receives if they win in league game. No matter at what altitude and against what opponent.
Annual bonuses. These are paid out only once at the earliest possible time at the end of the season. As soon as it is determined whether the bonus trigger was achieved.
Championship bonuses
A very high bonus, which the team only receives if it is in first place in its league at the end of the season.
Placement bonus
For any place better than 18th place, this bonus is paid out. If the prize is 1,000 pounds, for example, then 1,000 pounds will be paid out for 17th place. For place 16 it would be 2.000 pounds and so on.
Non-relegation bonus
A fairly large bonus paid if the team is not relegated at the end of the season. Special rule: Since you can't be relegated from the 6th ONLINELEAGUE, you get the bonus here as soon as you don't finish the season among the last 4 teams.
Promotion bonuses
A rather high bonus paid if the team is promoted to the next higher league at the end of the season. Special rule: Since you can't move up from the 1st ONLINELEAGUE, you get the bonus here if you are on place 1 or 2 at the end of the season.
All sponsors displayed in the “Main sponsor“ section offer to be a main sponsor. At different conditions.
For each sponsor, a preview of its bonus distribution is displayed in the form of pictograms including bar charts (1). In this way, the direction in which the sponsor is heading can already be identified in the overall list.
(2) Via the sorting filters can be set, which bonus types in which percentage height are relevant for the sorting. For example, you can set the share of inaugural prizes to 20% and the share of championship prizes to 50% of the total prizes. The sponsor list will then be sorted accordingly. The higher up the sponsor is, the closer it is to the set values. With a premium account, the maximum number of filters can be set.
Click on the sponsor logo to call the sponsor.

In the detailed view, the 6 different bonuses are given in numbers (1). You also get more information about the sponsor (2), from which region he comes (3) and the link to his website (4).
If you sign up the same sponsor of the last season again for the new season, you will be offered an extra bonus (5). However, only if you have not signed another sponsor in the meantime.
In order to commit the sponsor, the terms and conditions of the contract (1) must be accepted and the CONCLUDE SPONSOR CONTRACT button must be clicked.
The concluded contract always has a minimum term of 3 matchdays.
This important question is for each team manager to decide. It involves, of course, some foresight and the question of the risk one wants to take. Of course you have the possibility to change the sponsor during the season, but this involves additional costs which should be well included in the financial planning.
All sponsors at ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk are real, genuine companies which are placed as advertisers in the game. The paid bonuses in the game are of course not real, but „Fantasy“ funds.
Basically, any company can become a sponsor at ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk. Some sponsors offer beyond the „Fantasy“- bonuses, real discounts or special prices. This is left to each sponsor himself.
So which sponsor a team manager chooses can have very different reasons: The „Fantasy“- bonuses, the brand or just the additionally chosen real discounts / special prices.
The sponsor decides himself in which area he wants to be active. So he can be active either UK-wide, only one or more countries, or even only in a particular district or community. Depending on the regionality, each team manager is shown whether the sponsor is located in the immediate vicinity of the team.

This way, each team manager can, for example, present a supposedly smaller sponsor from the locality and thus support him in his advertising efforts.
- League: The higher the league tier, the higher the bonuses.
- History / Successes / Viewership: The more successful a team has been so far, the greater the attention. Not only does it matter how good the team is currently, but it also matters how its history has been over the years. Ultimately, this results in a certain popularity and this is taken into account by the sponsors in the amount of the bonus.
- Remaining term of the season: For all annual premiums applies: The longer the season is already running at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the lower the annual premium. If, for example, a contract is signed 10 matchdays before the end of the season, the non-relegation premium is significantly lower than if the contract was signed at the beginning of the season. Matchday premiums are unaffected by this, these always have the same amount, no matter at what time they are agreed.
- Distribution of bonuses: Depending on the sponsor type, bonuses are distributed differently. There are 3 sponsor types:
SECURITY SPONSOR
Pays rather small but secure bonuses.
PROFESSIONAL SPONSOR
Pays almost exclusively high success bonuses.
MIXED SPONSOR
Pays a mix of the previous two types.
Generally, the more difficult and risky a premium target is to achieve, the higher the premium multiplier.
As soon as one or more sponsors are happy to offer a contract, they will be marked NEW for 1 day.
In addition, the team manager will receive a messenger message with the new sponsors.
The contract with a main sponsor can be terminated during the season. This is necessary in order to sign another main sponsor. Because: Each team can only have one main sponsor at a time. A cancellation can always be done after 3 matchdays at the earliest.
In addition, a termination cannot be made after the 31st matchday. During the winter break, the contract can be terminated, but again, the sponsor must have been under contract for at least 3 matchdays.
With the beginning of the summer break, a sponsorship contract can be terminated immediately, but only if all possible bonuses have already been paid. This is usually not the case until the team's new league for the new season has been determined.
In the summer break, the sponsor for the new season can already be signed, the previous sponsor does not have to be terminated. The previous sponsor will otherwise remain identifiable as the main sponsor until the end of the summer break. Even if no further premiums are paid.
The premiums of the new sponsor will then become due and payable at the start of the new season.
When a sponsorship contract is terminated, a so-called prepayment penalty becomes due to the sponsor. The amount is proportionate to the amount of the premiums that the sponsor has already paid to the team and is shown to the team manager before he agrees to the termination of the contract.
However, this compensation is only due if the contract is terminated before its expiry, i.e. before the start of the summer break.
If a sponsor is signed up in the middle of the current season, any annual rewards they offer will always be prorated for the remainder of the season. For example, a sponsor rewards a championship higher if the team has been under contract since game day 1 than if the contract was only signed halfway through the season.
Anticipation bonuses and win bonuses are excluded from this, these are always the same.
If I sign another contract with my current sponsor during the summer break for the next season, they will offer me an additional bonus. This bonus will be displayed with an asterisk

and will be quantified in detail with the corresponding discount in percent.
The team manager is of course dependent on whether the sponsor offers the team a new contract for the new season. And: At what time he offers him the sponsorship. For example, the sponsor may not offer a team sponsorship again until the end of the summer break. It depends, among other things, on how many teams the sponsor already has under contract.
So, as a team manager, you have to look here: Do I accept a good offer early, or do I wait until shortly before the end, because I want to collect the bonus of my previous sponsor, for example.
In the section Matchday / Table all sponsors of the selected league including team names are displayed via the sub-item „Sponsoring“. Sponsors who have several teams in the league under contract are displayed multiple times.
By clicking on a sponsor it can be viewed in detail. In addition, you can check whether the sponsor also offers sponsorship to your own team.
Description text follows.
Each team is paid its share of the total league marketing revenue (television money, league sponsors) at the end of the season (after matchday 34). The amount of the share for each team is calculated with the help of a five-year ranking list. The leagues and rankings of the last 5 years are taken into account. Half of the amount is based on the results of the current season and the other half on the results of the last four seasons. The longer a team achieves good results in a high league, the larger its share of the marketing money.
In this section, basic settings for your own team manager account can be made.
DEACTIVATING YOUR TEAM
If the team is threatened with deactivation, there is an info and a setting option at the top of the settings to prevent this.
By enabling the „STOP“ function, deactivation at the end of the season is prevented.
At this point we would like to point out the idea of fair play once again. We want to have ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk only active and competitive teams in the leagues. Only in this way can fairness and high quality be ensured.

With an active Premium account, individual message types can be disabled. Additionally, certain message types can be received via email.
END PARTICIPATION
If a team manager wants to stop participating with his team at ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk at the end of the season, he can set this here.
The deactivation takes effect directly after the 34th matchday and is then irreversible.
Please keep in mind: Neither the team name nor the team manager name will be available again later. The step should therefore be well considered and can be taken back at any time until the 34th matchday.
