What's better than incredible football moments!? That's right, sharing them with others! And that's why ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk, just like in real football, provides continuous coverage of everything that happens on and off the pitch.

Semi-automated digital news. How does it work?
When ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk has thousands of teams competing and reporting on the highlights every day, the main task is to get the most relevant, spectacular and informative news out there. To accomplish this task, our editorial team is composed as follows.
MADE BY PEOPLE
Our editorial team, „real people“, sports editors and students from the fields of sports science and journalism, write all the texts that appear in our news. Naturally, in small, divided portions.
In addition, the team defines rules and priorities that determine when a news item is generated and displayed. Always depending on what else is going on (set priorities).
Once a matchday is played, our programmed algorithm comes into play and picks out the most relevant events. And that's exactly what happens 24 hours a day. Because we don't just report on match results, but also on everything that happens around them. And that can be at any time. News are written and published at any time. 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Our editor-in-chief is digital and never sleeps. That's why we report at all hours of the day and night.
Last but not least, of course, is getting the right news to the right audience. The regional component and the league affiliation play a big role. This means that every team manager gets the news that is most relevant for him. Of course, everyone can also look beyond their own nose and dive into other regions and leagues. Everyone has access to all news of the ONLINELIGA.de world. By clicking on the menu item „NEWS“ you can select the region (1) from which you want to get the latest news.

In many sections, more news from the corresponding league or region is suggested. So as a team manager you are almost constantly supplied with the most relevant news. So you get more news suggestions from the league, from which you are looking at a news in detail, for example.

Even if you don't have your own team, that is, if you don't have a login, anyone interested can view scores, standings, rankings and news. All events in ONLINELEAGUE.co.uk are freely available and can also be shared e.g. on youtube. Every team manager can invite friends and acquaintances to share their success and read the coverage of it.

Basically, everything that is relevant and interesting is reported on. So topics like:
  • Winning or losing streaks
  • Blowouts
  • Unexpected victories
  • Goal scorers
  • Injuries
  • Suspensions
  • Transfers
  • Stadium construction / expansion
  • Promotion / relegation
  • Championships
  • New teams / new leagues
  • Changes in ranking
  • Sponsorships
  • etc.
These topics are constantly being expanded.

Each news item usually has a photo with a scene from the game. Some topics are accompanied by visuals.
